Each Student Book in the three-level Listening Point series features twelve units accompanied by Workbook and Teacher's Guide.

Each Unit Contains The Following Components:
?WARM-UP：This introduces the core language, extended language and vocabulary of the unit in a real life context with characters similar in age to the students.
?Learn To Listen: A series of graded activities to develop awareness and comprehension of the core unit language. Students are also introduced to extended language to actively engage with the practice.
?WHILE YOU LISTEN：The core language, extended language and vocabulary of the unit is practiced in longer listening activities that encourage students to listen for and identify different kinds of information.
?AFTER YOU LISTEN：This integrates the language of the unit with speaking and writing with an emphasis on students personalizing the language and communicating with others
?CAN DO：Statements are shown at the beginning of each unit to show the key learning targets. At the end of each unit, students can assess how well they have achieved the targets.

民進黨全代會齊造勢 冷處理凍獨反凍獨
（中央社記者葉素萍台北19日電）民進黨全代會暨創黨29週年活動，今天下午將在桃園登場，集中火力為總統立委參選人造勢，展現民進黨搶攻桃竹苗客家票的企圖。至於去年留下的凍獨與反凍獨爭議，預料將冷處理。
民進黨全國黨員代表大會下午3時將在桃園平鎮登場，民進黨總統參選人蔡英文將與黨籍立委參選人、執政縣市首長一起造勢。
黨內要角蘇貞昌、謝長廷、游錫(方方土)等人都會出席，但台南市長賴清德因為要主持登革熱防疫會議，已請假。
民進黨這次全代會與黨慶活動，也首度邀請使節團、外賓觀禮並參與下午在地希望市集活動，約有十多位駐台代表將到場。
民進黨去年全代會，凍獨與反凍獨引發爭議。當時全代會決議將「凍獨」、「反凍獨」、「推動台灣國家正常化」、「台海發展決議文」等提案，全部送中執會處理。
民進黨中執會9日重申「2014對中政策檢討紀要」是現階段兩岸政策立場主張；中執會「冷處理」爭議提案；民進黨全代會上，將把中執會決議向黨代表報告，若黨代表對此無異議，全代會可望聚焦大選造勢，營造團結氣勢。
蔡英文上次總統大選，在桃園輸了近20萬票，民進黨桃園市長鄭文燦去年九合一選舉，則贏了3萬票。鄭文燦日前指出，全代會與黨慶選在平鎮中壢舉辦，這區是客家庄，對提振桃竹苗士氣有很大幫助，蔡英文這次大選贏3萬票是基本目標，朝贏8萬票的方向努力。
另外，民進黨傍晚將移往桃園中壢，舉辦在地希望市集與黨慶晚會，現場有桃園市在地農特產品、紙風車歷史劇場、美樂地樂團表演、小豬胖卡合照打卡，炒熱黨慶氣氛。1040919
